Our Mission is simply to promote Kootingal as a pleasant, friendly place to live and raise your family.
The Kootingal Pumpkin Festival and Outdoor Leisure Show/ Motor Show was designed to bring people to our area and to promote
the many benefits in living in a village atmosphere in close proximity to a major country city, Tamworth
As part of Tamworth Regional Council Events programme the festival is based about Pumpkins
and having the community engaged to promote Kootingal.
Our Community is involued with the poultry industry, Lucerne, Patterson's Curse, which covers our hills in purple
each year.
As this area is renowned for the growing of Pumpkins, we decided that this is what we would promote, the Pumpkin
Festival & Motor Show.
As the Festival has become more and more popular, we decided to add an Outdoor and Leisure Show and this is providing
more attractions each year. New attractions include an open Woodchop, Shearing Demonstration and a 3day Art Show which
is Know as the Essential Engery Pumpkin Festival Art Show and is run by Moonbi P&C under the banner of the Pumpkin Festival.
This is A Kootingal District Lions Club Community Event.
